Adance Marketing Responsible AI Policy

Last updated: January 16, 2026
At Adance Marketing, we believe AI can help professionals do better work faster and with more clarity as long as humans stay responsible, creative, and accountable. This policy outlines how we use AI, how we don’t use AI, and the standards we follow to protect client trust.

This is a living document. As tools evolve, we’ll update our practices to reflect responsible use, client expectations, and emerging industry norms.

Our Responsible AI Principles

We believe in the responsible design, development, deployment, and operation of AI technologies.

  1. Human-centered by default. We take a human-centered approach to AI that empowers and augments professionals. AI technologies should be assistive, not autonomous.

  2. Humans stay accountable. Humans remain accountable for all decisions and actions, even when assisted by AI. A human must remain in the loop in all AI applications.

  3. Creativity still comes from people. We believe in the critical role of human knowledge, experience, emotion, and imagination in creativity, and we seek to explore and promote emerging career paths and opportunities for creative professionals.

  4. No deception. We believe in the power of language, images, and videos to educate, influence, and affect change. We commit to never knowingly use generative AI technology to deceive; to produce content for the sole benefit of financial gain; or to spread falsehoods, misinformation, disinformation, or propaganda.

  5. Know the limits. We believe in understanding the limitations and dangers of AI, and considering those factors in all of our decisions and actions.

  6. Transparency builds trust. We believe transparency in data collection and AI usage is essential to maintain the trust of our audiences and stakeholders.

  7. Personalization without privacy invasion. We believe in personalization without invasion of privacy, including adherence to applicable data privacy laws, mitigation of privacy risks for consumers, and following our moral compass when legal precedent lags behind AI innovation.

  8. Automation without dehumanization. We believe in intelligent automation without dehumanization, and in the potential of AI to have profound benefits for humanity and society.

  9. Share what we learn. We believe in an open approach to sharing our AI research, knowledge, ideas, experiences, and processes in order to advance the industry and society.

  10. Upskill always. We believe in upskilling and reskilling professionals, and using AI to build more fulfilling careers and lives.

  11. Choose aligned partners. We believe in partnering with organizations and people who share our principles.

How We Use AI Today

We use AI as a support tool—to increase clarity, efficiency, and quality—while keeping humans responsible for strategy, originality, and final deliverables.

1) Copywriting (AI-assisted, human-led)

AI may assist with:

  • brainstorming angles or headlines

  • outlining or restructuring content

  • summarizing research inputs

  • identifying gaps, redundancies, or unclear phrasing

  • proofreading and tightening drafts

Important: AI is not the starting point or the final draft for client copy.

  • We do not publish raw AI output.

  • Copy is guided by our expertise, brand strategy, and client goals.

  • The final voice, claims, and messaging are human-written, human-edited, and human-approved.

2) Design (no AI-generated artwork)

Our design work is created by humans using professional design tools.

We may use AI-assisted features inside Adobe tools (e.g., Photoshop) for limited production support (such as Content-Aware Fill or similar assistive editing features) to remove distractions or refine an image.

We do not use AI to generate complete images or produce original design work via image-generation tools.
In other words: AI may help with small edits, but it does not “make the design.”

3) Research, analysis, and planning support

AI may be used to:

  • summarize transcripts, interviews, or meeting notes

  • organize themes and insights

  • support ideation for campaigns and content systems

  • assist with SEO and messaging analysis (as a helper, not a decision-maker)

  • create first-pass checklists, workflows, or templates we refine

How We Protect Client Trust

Human review and accountability

All AI-assisted outputs are reviewed by a human before use. We remain accountable for:

  • accuracy and claims

  • brand alignment and tone

  • originality and ethical standards

  • client approvals and stakeholder impact

Privacy and confidential information

We treat client information as confidential. When using AI tools, we:

  • avoid entering sensitive or identifying client data into AI systems unless it’s necessary and appropriate

  • anonymize inputs when possible

  • prefer tools and settings designed to reduce privacy risk

  • follow applicable privacy and confidentiality obligations

Accuracy and verification

AI can be wrong. We do not treat AI output as a source of truth. When factual accuracy matters, we verify with:

  • client-provided sources

  • primary/authoritative references

  • documented research

Intellectual property and originality

We aim to create original, distinctive work. AI assistance does not replace:

  • brand strategy

  • concept development

  • creative direction

  • craft-level writing and design decisions

What We Do Not Use AI For

  • generating “final” client copy with no human authorship or editing

  • creating AI-generated images as finished design deliverables

  • impersonation, deception, or manipulating audiences

  • generating or spreading misinformation

  • bypassing client review or approval processes

  • violating privacy expectations or confidentiality standards

Questions

If you have questions about how AI is used in your project—or you’d like specific AI boundaries documented in your scope of work—we’re happy to clarify and align.
